The most important service that Verizon Communications Inc. offers is the VoIP. Customer can avail of the service by having a DSL or cable internet connection, a usual telephone, a router and an adapter. It is important to note that Verizon does not provide operator service. Call Forwarding: Calls can be forwarded from one Verizon VoIP phone to another in a number of ways.

Call Waiting: This feature allows the user to accept an incoming while the user is already talking to someone. A special tone informs the user of a waiting incoming call.

Call Logs: This feature stores all the call details of the users Verizon VoIP. Call Logs stores the caller name, duration of the call, location of the caller, date and time of the day.

Call Waiting and Caller ID: Along with receiving an incoming call while talking to another person, this feature lets the user know the number of the waiting incoming call.

Caller ID: This feature displays the phone number of the incoming call on a screen.

Caller ID Block: This feature prevents the display of the number which the user is dialing. It only works for only one call. Once the call is completed, it returns to its original status.

Do Not Disturb: It prevents the phone from ringing and transfers all incoming calls to the voice mail.

Fax Capability: Verizon VoIP provides the user the facility of fax. While a fax is being received or sent, calls cannot be made.
